13th Annual Run for Childhood Cancer

On September 12, 2026, our community came together at Peace Park for the 13th Annual Run for Childhood Cancer, and what a special morning it was.

Whether you ran the 10km, took part in the 5km, joined us for the 2km family fun walk, or simply came out to cheer everyone on, you helped make the day so beautiful. Seeing so many people show up in gold, ready to support children and families facing childhood cancer, is something we never take for granted.

Our Run for Childhood Cancer is about so much more than running. It's about bringing people together, remembering those we've lost, celebrating those still fighting, and reminding families that they aren't alone.

There was plenty of fun throughout the morning, from the bouncy castles and face painting to the crafts, magicians, entertainers, and special guests who helped make the day memorable for our youngest participants. The smiles, the laughter, and the golden capes everywhere you looked made it a morning to remember.

An event like this doesn't happen without an incredible community behind it.

To our runners and walkers, thank you for showing up and taking those steps with us.

To our volunteers, thank you for your time, energy, and all the little things you did behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly.

Every dollar raised helps Believe in the Gold provide financial and emotional support to children and families affected by childhood cancer, while also helping fund life-saving childhood cancer research.
